Heritage 1860’s finishes in antique white and chocolate brown are distressed and antiqued.  Knotty alder is the right wood with character knots and distinct grain. Heartland appliances have the perfect vintage effect for the whole design scheme and the log house setting.  The vibrant reclaimed flooring is by ‘The Rediscovered Wood Floor Co.’ and the perfect partner for the cabinetry.  The island countertop is 2 1/2″ thick maple butcher block and the perimeter is granite.
